Biography
My name is Erik Wesner and I began my intensive first-hand study of the Amish in 2004. Since that time I have visited 17 Amish communities in five states, and have met roughly 5,000 Amish families in total.
In my previous nine-year career with a Nashville-based publisher and bookseller, I worked as a sales manager and set an international record as a salesperson.
My current project is a book on Amish business wisdom, based on 50+ interviews I have conducted with Amish business owners in Holmes County, Ohio, and Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
If not in Amish America, you can likely find me in Krakow, Poland, where I teach and give talks on the Amish.
